Franco Consulting Group, Inc., located in downtown Hayward, California, is one of the first security consulting firms specializing in all aspects of security and protection. Our goal is to provide an integrated system of services ranging from firearms use to unarmed self-defense for security professionals, law enforcement, military operators and self-defense instructors.

We provide security training that is inclusive of all skill levels and interests: Security Guard training (Guard Card, Exposed Weapon Permit), Security Design, Loss Prevention, Firearms (Handgun/Revolver, Shotgun, Rifle), Personal protection (Weapons, Unarmed Self-Defense), Counter-Terrorism, K9 Protection, Introduction to Tactical Shooting, VIP Protection, First Aid/CPR/AED, First Responder and more.

Our offices and training facility (one of the largest in the Bay Area) are conveniently located 3 blocks from Hayward BART with ample free parking. Our training site includes:

• 3 different training rooms, with a total capacity of 160 students.
• A computer lab with 12+ computers for computer-aided training for security guards.
• An area for laser simulator shooting.
• A lab to train in the basic concepts of CCTV, Alarm Systems and Access Control.
• On site studio for mixed martial arts (Filipino, Japanese and Israeli combatives), baton and tactical baton, hand to hand combat, weapon retention and self defense.
• On-site / mobile Live Scan service provider.

Hayward is a city located in the East Bay in Alameda County. The sixth largest city in the San Francisco Bay Area, it is one of the larger suburbs of Oakland. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 140,030. The estimated population in 2007 is 155,312. The former suburbs of Mt. Eden and Schafer Park have been incorporated into Hayward.

Downtown Hayward

Downtown Hayward is a district in Hayward, California, and is home to Hayward City Hall and the Hayward Public Library. Located in the City Plaza across the street is the original Hayward City Hall, Centennial Hall, and the Hayward City Center. In October 2008, Cinema Place will open where the former Lucky store closed in 2001 and moved to a new location on Mission Blvd. The Hayward Fault runs through the area. Foothill Blvd is also known as The Hayward Strip, a shopping strip that was built in the 1950s. Old Historic buildings are on B & Main Streets like the Green Shutter Hotel & Plaza, Palmtag Building, and more. The Hayward Museum is also in Downtown. The area is the original part of the city of Hayward. The Julio Bras Portuguese Park is on First Street.
